Welcome to Voices For Roxette.
Voices For Roxette is an independent, international non-profit music project created by fans for fans.
 
Our goal is clear:
We celebrate the musical legacy of Roxette by bringing together musicians from all over the world to create new interpretations of the songs that connect us all.
Each selected recording will become part of an official Voices For Roxette release. After deducting unavoidable distribution costs, 100% of all proceeds from this project go directly to the Comprehensive Cancer Center (CCC) Tübingen-Stuttgart.
This project stands for musical creativity, community, and contributing to cancer research.

1. Who can participate?
Everyone.
Whether you are:
- a professional musician,
- a local band,
- a bedroom producer,
- a solo artist,
- a choir,
- an orchestra,
- or simply a passionate Roxette fan,
you are very welcome. We value passion and creativity more than commercial success.

2. What can be submitted?
Participants can submit their own cover versions of officially released Roxette songs. Your interpretation can be acoustic, rock, pop, jazz, country, orchestral, electronic, metal, instrumental, or any other musical style. Creative arrangements are explicitly encouraged as long as the original composition remains recognizable. 

AI-generated instrumental backing tracks are generally permitted. However, the lead vocals must be performed and recorded by a real person—AI-generated or cloned voices are not allowed. The backing track must also be newly created and must not contain samples, extracted stems or any other elements from the original recording. Any use of AI must be clearly disclosed in the description when uploading the

3. Rules for cover songs
For legal security, all submissions must follow these principles:
- The original lyrics must not be changed.
- The melody must remain recognizable.
- The song must be clearly identifiable as a Roxette composition.
- Copyright remains with the original songwriters and publishers.
- Participants are responsible for complying with copyright regulations in their respective countries.

4. Originality of the recording
Recordings should ideally be produced specifically for Voices For Roxette. Previously released tracks may be accepted in exceptional cases but must be reported with the ISRC code. The committee decides on the inclusion.
 
5. Technical requirements
Accepted formats are WAV (preferred), FLAC, or AIFF. High-quality MP3 files may be submitted for review. Required data: Artist name, contact person, country, short biography, photo, song title, original song, and credits.
 
6. Selection process
After the submission deadline, all entries will be evaluated by the Voices For Roxette committee—consisting of experienced members of the international fan community—based on quality, originality, creativity, and suitability. The decision is final; there is no legal claim to publication.
 
7. Anonymous voting
To guarantee fairness, the evaluation can be conducted anonymously so that the focus remains solely on musical quality.
 
8. Release
Selected tracks may appear on popular streaming platforms and, if possible, on physical formats such as CD or vinyl. Participation does not guarantee a release.
 
9. Use of proceeds
Voices For Roxette is a non-profit project with no personal enrichment for the organizers. 100% of all proceeds remaining after transaction and distribution costs will be donated to the Comprehensive Cancer Center (CCC) Tübingen-Stuttgart. For transparency, a summary of the donation amount will be published after the project's completion.
 
10. Respect
Please treat everyone involved with kindness. Discrimination or insults will not be tolerated.

Voices For Roxette is an independent fan initiative and has no official connection to Roxette, the rights holders, or affiliated managements.
